Care & Sterilisation

Keep your nail art brushes performing at their best with these care steps:

Cleaning after each use: Gently wipe excess product from bristles using a lint-free wipe soaked in brush cleaner or isopropyl alcohol. For gel residues, use a gel brush cleanser — never cure gel on the bristles.

Deep cleaning (weekly or as needed): Soak bristles in brush cleaner for 2–3 minutes, then gently reshape with your fingers. Rinse with clean brush cleanser if necessary. Never use acetone — it will damage synthetic bristles.

Reshaping: After cleaning, gently reshape the bristle tip to its original form (flat oval for gel brushes, pointed for liners). Allow to air-dry with bristles facing down or horizontally.

Storage: Always replace the protective cap when not in use. Store horizontally or bristle-down in a brush holder. Keep away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and UV lamps — UV exposure will cure residual product and ruin the bristles.

Replacement: Replace when bristles begin to splay, lose their shape, or no longer hold a clean edge. With proper care, professional nail art brushes typically last 6–12 months of regular salon use.

About This Series

The STALEKS EXCLUSIVE series is the brand's premium brush line for professional nail technicians. Every EXCLUSIVE brush is double-ended, combining two working heads on a single balanced aluminium handle with a white matte finish. Self-aligning magnetic caps protect both ends, keeping the synthetic fibre bristles clean and in shape between uses. The brushes suit all types of nail polishes and gels and are covered by a 2 year manufacturer warranty.

FAQs

What makes the EXCLUSIVE double-ended brushes different?

Each EXCLUSIVE brush combines two professional working heads on one white matte aluminium handle, so you can switch between application and detail work without picking up a second tool. Both ends are protected by self-aligning magnetic caps that lock securely in place, keeping the synthetic bristles clean and in shape between uses. The 18 cm handle is balanced for precise control.

Which EXCLUSIVE double-ended brush should I choose?

Match the combination to your work. The NBX-08/03 pairs a straight 10 mm gel brush with a 10 mm liner for even application plus fine detailing. The NBX-06/09 pairs an oval 11 mm gel brush with a bevelled 9 mm gel brush for base application, levelling and precise work near the cuticle. The NBX-06/11 pairs the oval 11 mm gel brush with a long 12 mm liner for straight lines, geometry and French tips.

Can I use EXCLUSIVE brushes with regular polish as well as gel?

Yes. STALEKS EXCLUSIVE brushes are suitable for all types of nail polishes and gels. Clean the bristles with the appropriate solvent for the product used, such as a gel brush cleanser for gel. Never use acetone on synthetic bristles.

How do I clean gel from my nail art brush?

Never let gel cure on the bristles — this will permanently ruin the brush. After each use, gently wipe bristles with a lint-free wipe soaked in brush cleanser or isopropyl alcohol. For stubborn residue, soak briefly (1–2 minutes) in brush cleanser, then reshape and cap. Never use acetone on synthetic bristles.
