Attach the reusable PODODISC metal or plastic disc to your e-file handpiece. Peel the backing off a disposable abrasive pad and press it firmly onto the disc's rubber grip surface. Use the disc at the recommended speed (10,000-30,000 RPM) for callus removal and foot smoothing. After each client, remove and dispose of the used pad, then clean and disinfect the disc before applying a fresh pad.

PODODISC comes in four sizes: XS (10mm) for hard-to-reach areas, cracks, and toe work; S (15mm) for localised calluses, cracks, and finger work; M (20mm) as a versatile all-purpose size for most pedicure tasks; and L (25mm) for large areas like heels and soles. Many professionals keep multiple sizes on hand to suit different treatment areas.

Start with a coarser grit and work finer for the best results. Use 80 grit for heavy calluses and corns. Use 100 grit for general rough skin removal. Use 180 grit for moderate skin smoothing and all-round treatment. Use 240 grit for fine smoothing after callus removal. Use 320 grit for final polishing and sensitive skin. Sponge (PDFB) pads are designed for the final polishing step to achieve long-lasting smoothness.

After each client, remove and dispose of the used pad. Brush the disc surface with a soft brush to remove debris. Metal discs can be disinfected with salon-grade solution and sterilised in an autoclave or dry heat steriliser. Plastic discs can be disinfected with various products and cold sterilisation but should not be placed in a dry heat steriliser. Inspect the rubber grip pad regularly and replace the disc if pads no longer adhere securely.
