Pedicure curette EXPERT 20 TYPE 1 (hemisphere curette and toenail cleaner)

These curettes are compatible with all standard sterilisation methods including autoclave (up to 134°C), dry-heat oven, and chemical sterilisation. After each client, clean debris from the working parts with a nylon brush under running water, immerse in your approved disinfectant solution, then sterilise per your clinic’s infection control protocol.

Pedicure curettes are specifically designed for foot care. The curette tips are shaped to follow the contour of toenails, which are thicker and more curved than fingernails. The working ends are optimised for removing dry calluses from nail folds, cleaning under toenail edges, and working with ingrown toenails. Manicure pushers are designed for the finer work of pushing back fingernail cuticles.

The PE-20/1 (Type 1) has a hemisphere curette on one end and a toenail cleaner on the other — ideal when you need both callus work and nail cleaning in one instrument. The PE-20/2 (Type 2) is a double-ended curette with two curette tips — designed for dedicated callus removal and ingrown nail work where both ends serve the same function.

While the instruments are safe to handle, pedicure curettes are designed for trained professionals. Callus removal and toenail fold work require proper technique to avoid injury. With proper care and sterilisation, STALEKS pedicure curettes typically last 12–18 months of regular professional use. Replace the instrument when the curette edge becomes dull, nicked, or no longer follows the nail plate contour precisely. A worn curette increases the risk of slipping during delicate toenail work.
