FAQs

How do I sterilise cosmetology extraction tools?

STALEKS EXPERT series cosmetology tools are autoclave-safe up to 134°C and compatible with dry-heat sterilisation ovens. They can also be disinfected using standard chemical solutions. Beauty & Care series tools should be disinfected with chemical agents only — they are not recommended for autoclave or dry-heat sterilisation. Always dry instruments thoroughly before storage.

Can I use these extraction tools at home?

The STALEKS EXPERT series is designed for trained cosmetologists and aestheticians who understand proper extraction technique. Incorrect use can damage skin or cause scarring. The Beauty & Care series (ZBC-30) is designed for home use with gentler edges, but we still recommend learning proper technique before use. If in doubt, consult a professional.

What is a Uno spoon used for?

A Uno spoon (also called a comedone extractor) has a single hole designed to fit over individual clogged pores. You centre the hole over a blackhead or closed comedone and apply gentle, even pressure to extract the contents cleanly. The smooth, polished edges minimise skin trauma during the procedure.
